The “Major League Photo Project” is a photography challenge designed to push technical skill as well as take us back to our hand-me-down van traveling roots, by capturing an action shot of every MLB & MiLB team within a self declared specific amount of time.

the project serves as a bridge to the big leagues for photographers who have traditionally focused their lenses on Minor League Baseball (MiLB), well not wavering from the original subjects.

To maintain the integrity of the pursuit, the project is governed by a specific set of rules:

• You must visit at least three stadiums: Participants must visit at least three different stadiums during the season.

• Authentic Capture: Media Day photos taken by other photographers and used as official roster photos displayed on scoreboards during the game do not count toward the season total.

• Subject Verification: Each shot must feature an active member of the official roster or coaching staff. Auxiliary personnel, such as ball boys or stadium staff in uniform, are excluded from the challenge.
