- Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania: I don’t care about the past, the Original 6, The accolades, or anything of the sorts. Philadelphia, PA is the real Hockeytown USA.
I’ve been traveling to Arenas and stadiums for the better part of 10 years now, and for the first time ever, we have an Arena that earned a perfect 10 out of 10 rating on the Rock City Multimedia Scale. From a modern arena with specific access points (that actually work and make sense, because a lot of arenas advertise this, and it never comes to fruition to be functional), to an in-game presentation & experience that’s a downright spectacle, from a beyond Vegas style team introduction, to the team’s iconic mascot Gritty legitimately having a staged section to silly string, popcorn, and pie anyone who dares sits there, and a fan base that’s second to none – and brings nodes of European football as every person in attendance stops what they’re doing during some chants to participate (even those in the concourse) – as well as spending hours before the HOCKEY game, TAILGATING, and hosting street hockey games in the parking lot, there is not another atmosphere like a Philadelphia Flyers Hockey game.
Tonight’s Scorecard:
| Goals | 1 | 2 | 3 | Final |
| Flyers | 0 | 1 | 0 | 1 |
| Hurricanes | 1 | 0 | 3 | 4 |
