A swing and a miss – Detroit, MI (11/9/24)

• Little Caesars Arena in Detroit, Michigan: For the first stop of our 24′-25′ Hockey road trip, we made our way back to Little Caesars Arena, home of the Detroit Red Wings. As you may now from the YouTube shorts or past photos we’ve posted, this isn’t our first time here, but we had to make our way back in order to do a full video and article here to count it towards our “Teams seen”.

I chose this night in particular because I haven’t ever seen the New York Rangers play before. Perhaps I should’ve picked different for the situation though, as the second goal (no pun intended) to seeing every NHL and AHL team play, is also to get a video of each team scoring at least once….which the Red Wings failed to do against the Rangers.

with one goal in the first, two in the second, and one more in the third, Jonathan Quick and the Rangers managed to Hold off the Wings, and get Quick a shout-out, with a final score of Rangers 4 & Red Wings 0 – Lucky for us, we have plans to see the Red Wings play two more times this season, hopefully scoring at least one goal one of those times so we can check them off the “Goal Video” list.
